Kay Warren (b. Feb 9, 1954) is an American an American author, and the co-founder of the sixth-largest evangelical megachurch in the United States, Saddleback Church.
Saddleback Church has a humble and inspiring origin story. It began with just seven individuals coming together as a Bible study group in 1980, united by their faith and a shared sense of purpose.
That same year marked a significant milestone, as they held their inaugural service on Easter Sunday, gathering in a high school gymnasium. It was a modest beginning but carried the seeds of something much larger.
