Peggy Gou (b. July 3, 1991) is a famous South Korean Dj, She currently resides in Berlin, Germany. She owns her own record label called Gudu Records.
Peggy’s journey into the world of music began in 2009 when a friend from Korea taught her how to DJ. She had her first gig at Cirque Le Soir in Soho and later became a regular performer at The Book Club in East London.
She developed her musical expertise in 2013 by learning how to utilize Ableton Live and began producing her own songs. In 2014, she finished “Hungboo,” a song that was motivated by a Korean folk hero. She debuted it in Korea for the first time during the opening ceremony of the 2016 Style Icon Awards with a visual art film that included actor Yoo Ah-in.
Gou released music on record labels Ninja Tune and Phonica in 2018. The track “It Makes You Forget (Itgehane)” from that year earned her the Best Track award at the AIM Independent Music Awards and even found a place on the FIFA 19 tracklist.
In 2019, Forbes recognized Gou as one of the most influential leaders and entrepreneurs under 30 in Asia. She launched her fashion label, KIRIN, with support from Virgil Abloh’s New Guards Group in February. In March, she introduced her independent record label, Gudu Records, aimed at providing emerging artists with better opportunities.
Her DJ-Kicks mix compilation, “DJ-Kicks: Peggy Gou,” was released in June, marking her first Billboard chart appearance, reaching number nine on the Dance/Electronic Album Sales chart.

Peggy continued her musical journey, joining Apple Music’s New Year’s Eve DJ Mixes in December 2020. She released her seventh single, “Nabi,” in June 2021, featuring Oh Hyuk from the band Hyukoh. Following that, she paid tribute to her teenage years with “I Go,” reimagining the sounds she grew up loving.
Peggy’s eighth single, “(It Goes Like) Nanana,” was made available through XL Recordings in June 2023, expanding her constantly expanding catalog of songs.
