Raye Biography
Raye (b. Oct. 24, 1997) whose full name is Rachel Keen, is a British singer and songwriter. She has made big features since the start of her career like Jonas Blue, David Guetta, and Joel Corry.
Born in Tooting, London, Rachel studied at the Woodcote High School and attended BRIT School, before she made a choice to drop out two years later. She released her first EP in the year 2014 when she was just 17 years old, the EP was called Welcome To The Winter.
She released her second EP two years later in 2016 which she named Second, the EP even features British rapper Stormzy. The lead single of the EP was I, U, Us released in October 2016 and even had the music video directed by Charli XCX.
She had her first concert performance in the ear 2017 at XOYO, she was part of Charlie XCX’s mixtape Number 1 Angel featuring on the song Dreamer together with American rapper Starrah.
Raye released the track Cigarette featuring Mabel and Stefflon Don in February 2018. The BPI certified the song Silver after it reached number 41 on the UK Singles Chart.
She also released a song named Friends in 2018, which reached number 66 in the UK. Raye joined Halsey on the European leg of the Hopeless Fountain Kingdom Tour in September 2018. Raye launched her own headlining tour in October 2018, visiting locations across the UK and Ireland.

She also made a collaboration with David Guetta on their song called Stay and also Make It To Heaven in the year 2019. She has also co-written songs for big music faces like Ellie Goulding and Beyonce.
She went on to also release her album called Euphoric Sad Songs in the year 2020. The next year (2021) she returned to the UK Top Ten with the number three song Bed, another collaboration with Guetta, and assisted D-Block Europe in reaching number 14 with Ferrari Horses.
She finally reached her first number-one U.K. hit with 070 Shake on their song Escapism, after Hard Out Here and Mascara. The achievement paved the way for the release of My 21st Century Blues in February 2023. She co-wrote each song and was mostly aided by Mike Sabath.
