Tim Dilena (b. Dec 22, 1968) is the senior pastor for Times Square Church serving as the third senior pastor after pastor Carter Conlon who was the lead pastor after David Wilkerson.
Dilena’s educational journey led him to Baylor University, Wayne State University, and Moody Bible Institute, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Corporate Finance. He furthered his knowledge through extended studies in apologetics at Oxford University in England.
With nearly four decades of pastoral leadership and experience, Tim is the third senior pastor of Times Square Church, a church established by David Wilkerson in 1987.
This church has a deep connection with Tim as his father, Paul Dilena, played a pivotal role in the church’s history. Paul Dilena was not only featured in David Wilkerson’s bestselling book “The Cross and the Switchblade” but also served as the treasurer of the first Teen Challenge.
Before assuming the senior pastorate at Times Square Church, Tim had been a beloved and frequent speaker at the church for over 25 years. In 1984, he answered a call to move to Detroit at the request of Gary Wilkerson, who was initiating a new church and needed temporary assistance.
In Detroit, Tim felt a divine calling and decided to stay, establishing Revival Tabernacle in a former 900-seat XXX movie theater. Over time, the church transformed into a thriving, multicultural, multi-ethnic, and international place of worship that continues to flourish today.

In 2010, Tim received a significant invitation from Jim Cymbala to become an associate pastor at The Brooklyn Tabernacle. After dedicating five years to serving in Brooklyn, he took on the position of lead pastor at Our Savior’s Church in Lafayette, Louisiana.
However, his journey came full circle when, in May 2020, Tim returned to New York City to resume his role as the leader of Times Square Church. This move marked a pivotal moment in his pastoral career, reuniting him with the church he has a deep connection with.
